BIOGRAPHY

Name: Lyndall Elizabeth Hulley.

Birthday: 9th July 1972.

Born: Adelaide South Australia.

Nickname: None. If you can think up a good one for me let me know.

Parents: Margaret and Dean.

Siblings: Sisters Noreen and Sharon, Brother Stephen.

Husband: Phil married 1998. We met at 8 Ball when I was just 14. The reason we get along so well is because we have such a huge part of our lives in common, something we both love to do. It's great to play in the same team but equally as good to compete against each other.

Kids - Tiegan born 1999 and Hannah born 2004.

Started playing: My Dad taught me to play on a 6ft x 3ft table when I was 8. I started playing competition when I was 12.

Coaches: My Dad And Phil.
Phil has been the Australian 8Ball Singles Champion 1990 and also made the 1/4 finals of the World Singles Championships 1994.

First Tournaments: I won a number of local pub knockouts from the age of 15. I was a semi finalist in my first State 8 Ball Singles Title and my first 9 Ball tournament.

Why I play pool: I love the competition side of pool. I am a very competitive person by nature. The fact that you can never know everything is awesome as it enables you to just keep improving all the time. I also enjoy the social aspect as well.

Greatest 8 Ball Achievement: Making my first World Singles Title Semi Final in 2002. In the 1/4's I defeated Linda Leadbitter (England) 7-6 former 4 time World Champion who had never been beaten before the Semi Final stages.

Greatest 9 Ball Achievement: Being the only female representative from the Oceania Region to compete in the World Games (2nd biggest sporting event in the World behind the Olympics) in Germany in 2005.
